Come funziona?

La practica della mindfulness può essere coltivata attraverso una serie di pratiche formali e informali. Le pratiche formali includono: meditazione seduta, meditazione camminata, meditazione da sdraiati e movimenti mindful yoga. Allenando la mente a prestare attenzione al momento presente, ci consente di sentirci alleviati dalle stressanti e ripetitive considerazioni e giudizi che la nostra mente fa per sua natura.

L’idea del progetto e’ nata dal desidero di unire il mio percorso professionale e personale caratterizzato dalla passione per la Psicologia, le Neuroscienze e la Mindfulness.

 In The Mind Factory, I completed an introductory mindfulness session, which left me curious for more so I continued for an 8-week MBSR course. Stefania is a highly skilled and inspirational mindfulness practitioner, who has provided me with the tools to be aware of and manage my own “mind factory” during and after the sessions. Practising mindfulness is a personal journey and not a quick fix; it’s work in progress but the foundations laid and the guidelines provided by Stefania were very strong to keep me going. I enjoyed it and learnt so much that If there were additional courses offered, I would definitely try them or I would even repeat the ones I already completed.

I am really grateful to have attended the Introductory Course with The Mind Factory although at the beginning I was a little bit skeptical about mindfulness. I really didn’t know what It was about. Surprisingly I can definitely say that it was a really eye-opening experience. Throughout the course I felt supported and safe in order to explore the present moment. I completed my MBSR course with The Mind Factory a year ago. I was stuck at a cross point and the practice I learnt with Stefania helped me clear my own mind and feel free of a guilty conscience whenever I make a decision.
