The Mind Factory

Mindfulness is a form of meditation and the human ability to pay close attention to the present moment experience.

How does it work?

Mindfulness can be cultivated through a series of formal and informal practices. Formal practices are called meditations such as being seated, walking, lying down, standing, and moving. By training the mind to pay attention to the moment-to-moment experience, we can help to alleviate the stressful and repetitive considerations and judgments our mind makes by default.

Client Testimonials

In The Mind Factory, I completed an introductory mindfulness session, which left me curious for more so I continued for an 8-week MBSR course. Stefania is a highly skilled and inspirational mindfulness practitioner, who has provided me with the tools to be aware of and manage my own “mind factory” during and after the sessions. Practising mindfulness is a personal journey and not a quick fix; it’s work in progress but the foundations laid and the guidelines provided by Stefania were very strong to keep me going. I enjoyed it and learnt so much that If there were additional courses offered, I would definitely try them or I would even repeat the ones I already completed.

I am really grateful to have attended the Introductory Course with The Mind Factory although at the beginning I was a little bit skeptical about mindfulness. I really didn’t know what It was about. Surprisingly I can definitely say that it was a really eye-opening experience. Throughout the course I felt supported and safe in order to explore the present moment. Now I am more in touch with my feelings and I have more skills to better cope with stressful situations. Stefania is an extremely competent and skilled professional and she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during the sessions with her natural attitude and empathy. We also had moments of real fun and laughter which were part of this incredible, fulfilling and unexpected journey.

I completed my MBSR course with The Mind Factory a year ago. I was stuck at a cross point and the practice I learnt with Stefania helped me clear my own mind and feel free of a guilty conscience whenever I make a decision. I learnt to embrace the whole of myself as I am and start changing some of my negative internal dialogue. Stefania helped me applying the knowledge of mindfulness to my daily struggle, and I have not stopped my practice since then. I would go back to such an inspirational teacher for deepening the understanding of mindfulness any time.
